NASA Microwave Engine

Image
You heard it here first … this is the explanation. It's really more like a quantum refrigerator, actually, a way to freeze the fabric of space-time into mass when you need it for acceleration, and let it melt after you're done. NASA Microwave Engine Einstein if you have an asymmetrically shaped cavity and push an energy back and forth, in one direction, it goes faster, and in the other,  it goes slower (but wider, e.g. the asymmetry), and you can get energies close to the speed of light, you have the de Broglie formula working in your advantage because the mass differential is related to the square of the speed, but the difference in cavity size is more linear. BUT, you need mass. Heisenberg With this energy accelerating around in the chamber, some amount of mass must be created or you'd have certainty. Since the mass is created by the energy, it is conserved zero-sum for the device. The mass is heavier in one direction than in the other because it is tied up wit...

Pony Tail Effect

Image
Pony Tail Effect using google trends, my 10-year-old daughter and I looked side-by-side at interest in Ponytail, "short hair", and "long hair". Looking back over the past, short hair was more popular than long hair,  there was a transition phase, and then "long hair" became more popular. During the times when the query for "short hair" and "long hair" coincided, there is a marked bump in interest in "pony tail". If this happened once or twice, that could be a clear coincidence. However, this correspondence occurred four times. What is the Cause? What is the Effect? I suspect that the correspondence is the ambivalence to hair length leads to greater interest in pony tails. When society is comfortable in its stylistic hair length option, there's no need for long-haired people to want to pass as a short-haired person with a pony tail.  There may be other indications. If you're an investor in hair-care c...
